Places, combat banners and groups
In the Fortress of Diversity (Feste der Vielfalt) you will find, besides the combat banners, various important places and contact points, such as the Kommandantur (Commandery), the Quartiermeisterei (Quartermaster's Office) or the TerraBierBar. Here you can also find out more about the groups that are members of the Feste.
There is something for everyone to do in the Feste - if you know the right places to go to.

The Commandery (Kommandantur)
The central point in the Fortress of Diversity
The heart of the Fortress of Diversity (Feste der Vielfalt) is the Commandery (Kommandantur) This is where all the information come together and where all the central decisions are made. Also the leaders of the Feste can usually be found in the black and white tent. The Commandery is therefore also the central contact point for all who are looking for connection or information about the continent or its inhabitants. If you have heard or observed something, such information is in good hands with the people in the commandant’s office. They are happy to hear from anyone who has something to report. But even if you are looking for something to do, you will find it in the Commandery. The tasks that can be found here are manifold. From short errands and scouting assignments for new members to tricky puzzles over several days for experienced, magical as well as clerical, fighting as well as civilian – anyone who wants to get involved can be helped here. Scribes are also always wanted, a task that is suitable both as an introduction for newcomers but also for experienced people to gain or refresh knowledge. Only together can we be successful – and no place in the Feste represents this as much as the Commandery.

Garden of Terra & place of the elements
The spiritual heart for many people of the Fortress
Many years ago the expedition of the elements besieged Doerchgart. The avatar of Terra was locked under a seal. Than in a small herb garden roots grew into mythodean inscription: Help! Deirdre, no warrior but an unaccompanied druid did what she could do best: in the Earthcamp she raised a central garden to honor the element. When the avatar returned, she thanked the druid. Since then, “the gardener of Terra” has built this special place for the fighters many times. Terra’s siblings – Aqua, Ignis, Aeris and Magica – are not forgotten in the garden either, so you can always find small altars for each of the elements with all kinds of gifts and memorabilia from past campaigns. The location also serves as a ritual site. The Emerald Singers, the Quihen Assil of Terra, have often attracted the special attention in the garden. Rumors in the wind whispering that plants in Terra’s garden grow faster and more lushly. In this way the garden of Terra developed into a place of power, peace and relaxation for followers of all elements.

Arkaneum
The magical Center of the fortress of diversity
Most lands are fille with magic and secrets and so is Mythodea.. The fortress of diversity encountered many of those during its journeys, battles and adventures but there ar still countless to find. The Arkaneum is established in the 20th year after the discovery of mythodea and is led by Rufus and Fion. It shall become the magical center of the fortress of diversity. Caster of all schools of magic shall join in to talk about magical knowledge, methods and experiences. If you want to learn something new you shall find an awnser at the Arkaneum. The non-magical Members of the fortress will have a Point to ask Question about magical topics. MAybe some of you might find their own magical spark there. The Arkaneum will stay in close contact with the command headquarter and will advise the military and civil leaders to – hopefully – prevent an accidental worlds end. Visit the Arkaneum if you have question about magic. Go into exchange with your fellow caster. Don’t let magical Glows or spoken spells scare you away.

The Free Alchemical Cauldron Community (Die Freie Alchemistische Kessel-Gemeinschaft)
The alchemical center of the Feste
The alchemists of Mythodea and the Fortress of Diversity (Feste der Vielfalt) form an alliance whose courageous cooperation has brought a decisive turn to many campaigns. In the laboratories of the Free Alchemical Cauldron Community, alchemists and herbalists put their heads together, brood over all kinds of potions and recipes, analyze plants and poisons, and thus strike back at the enemy in their very own way. Both gifted masters are welcome, as well as scolars or novices, because the alliance has also made it its task to pass on and exchange knowledge. The “FAKG” is a free branch of the Alchemists Guild of Mitraspera. Representatives of the alchemical arts are invited to participate in the accomplishment of the tasks that are brought to the Free Alchemical Cauldron Community from everywhere. The Free Alchemical Cauldron Community can usually be found near the Commandery, if in doubt, just follow the loud bangs and interesting smells.

The TerraBierBar
THE tavern in the Feste
The TerraBierBar is probably the most famous tavern in the Fortress of Diversty (Feste der Vielfalt). Not far from the Commandery, in the black yurt you can not only casually exchange ideas and recover from the exertions of the day, no, you are also sure to find one or the other, whom you can cheat out of their money in a little game. In a convivial atmosphere, information can be gathered and passed on – and the landlady of the TerraBierBar, Kathleen vom Weiherhof, is exceptionally well connected. According to rumors, she can even serve with more than just contacts, but there is also one or the other culinary specialties of the Feste hidden behind her counter. The TerraBierBar is also suitable for night owls, as it is open until late at night.

The Quartermaster’s Office (Quartiermeisterei)
The central location for supplies, crafts and trade for the fortress
There are those who say that the Quartermaster’s Office of the Fortress of Diversity is a hub for goods, information and other things unlike any other on the campaign. Tailors, furriers and merchants of unusual things can be found in the Quartermaster’s Office. Even things found in unusual ways find a buyer here in the constant flow of goods. The quartermaster’s shop supplies the warriors of the fortress with everything they need for battle. In addition to the stationary goods and the constant exchange with the troops, the Quartermaster’s Office goes into battle under the yellow banner and also supplies the troops during the fighting. Armor in need of repair, shabby swords and all sorts of utensils are collected and taken to the forges in the fortress for repair. With the settlement of Aerdas, the focus shifted to trade and supplying the fortress beyond the campaigns. Since then, the Quartermaster’s Office has also taken on the task of concluding trade agreements, negotiating contracts and ensuring the economic stability of the fortress. The Quartermaster’s Office is grateful for every helping hand, as there is plenty to do – whether for craftsmen, traders, diplomats, soldiers, scribes and many other professions – there is always something to do in the Quartermaster’s Office!

The Research Council
Association of scientists for research in the field
The world of Mythodea is full of forgotten knowledge and lost places waiting to be discovered and explored. Wherever one encounters the unknown, usually only the right expertise can help. Thus, the Research Council of the Fortress of Diversity represents an association of various knowledge seekers, researchers and adventurers who use their knowledge and skills to collectively explore the unknown in the field. The knowledge thus gained in the field is used to support the commandery so that the challenges that arise during the war campaigns can be overcome in the best possible way. Just like the Feste itself, the Research Council, which emerged from the former Consulate of the Feste, draws its strength from the diversity of experts and can thus tackle the tasks of the world of Mythodea successfully. It does not matter how much knowledge one has already gathered about the continent, or how long one has been on the continent, what truly counts is the desire to explore new things and to use this knowledge against our enemies. As part of the Research Council, you should be prepared to face challenges in the field, such as exploring dark dungeons, acquiring knowledge in the thick of battle and examining ancient constructs, in order to discover knowledge and solve the riddles of the world. Anyone who sees themselves as a pioneer in their field of expertise, but also those who simply want to explore new things and learn in the process, are invited to join the Research Council on its explorations. The contact person for this is Mr. Quinn, the current First of the Research Council.

Purple rat
Cultural center: The Lila Ratte and the Lila Latte in the Lavender Quarter
The Lavender Quarter comprises the members of the Purple Battle Banner and the associated civilian forces on the campaigns of the Fortress of Diversity. In addition to its own people, the quarter is also home to the “cultural center” of the fortress: The Purple Rat. The large black yurt in the heart of the quarter provides a meeting place, a communal area and a place of exchange for the members of the Lavender Quarter, the Fortress of Diversity and their guests. In the mornings, it is home to the Lila Latte, which provides a good start to the day with coffee. During the day, the Ratte invites you to social and scientific exchange. In the evenings, the main attractions are social evenings with bard music, tasty drinks and the chance to win a game of dice or cards. The Lila Ratte also offers space for events and celebrations.

Feste Fabled Folk
The Banner of the Bards - an association of musicians and music lovers of the Fortress of Diversity
Musicians and music lovers of the Feste der Vielfalt unite under the banner of Feste Fabled Folk. Whether experienced bard, passionate musician, solo singer or music group – Feste Fabled Folk offers a community for everyone who loves music and their instrument and wants to share this with others. Shared music evenings, gigs, mutual support or just a place to retreat are just some of the things the orange bard banner with the musical notes has to offer. If you too would like to become part of the Feste Fabled Folk community, make music together and help shape a place of harmony, creativity and friendship, then you will find the right people to talk to in Merane at the red banner, and with Yaski and Soska at the righteous camp – or simply ask about the Feste Fabled Folk! Even though the Bard Banner gathers under the flag of the Feste, it is not necessary to belong to the Feste of Diversity – musicians from other realms and seals are always welcome!

The diplomats
Well networked and always informed: The diplomats
The diplomats represent the Fortress of Diversity and maintain relations with other realms and seals. To this end, they are in constant contact with each other and with the allies of the Fortress of Diversity, conduct talks and negotiations are the first point of contact whenever exchanges with other factions are required. In addition to maintaining existing connections, establishing new contacts and initiating diplomatic talks with new factions is of course also an essential part of the diplomats’ remit. Especially the discovery of the new continent – Sarkan – and the new empires and factions will present diplomats with great but also exciting challenges in the future. If you already have good contacts with one (or more) groups outside of the Fortress, it’s definitely worth taking a look at the Diplomats – but of course this is not a prerequisite for joining the Diplomats. Even if you don’t have any major contacts outside of the fortress, you can get involved here and use the Diplomats’ existing structures to make and maintain contacts.

The Investigation
The Investigator protects
An army camp faces many dangers – even outside the battlefield. Be it attacks or intrigues from outside the fortress or disagreements or sabotage from within: Not all deeds and dangers are open and can be fought with the sword alone. The Investigator has dedicated himself to fighting these enemies of the Fortress of Diversity in the constant battle against the hidden forces underground. But the Investigator doesn’t just operate on the inside – the Investigator also protects the Fortress and its members from all kinds of threats across seals and realms. He is supported by the Guard and the righteous members of the fortress, as well as the diplomat when conflicts arise with outsiders. In all endeavors and actions of the Investigation, the principle of protecting the Fortress of Diversity is paramount.
Want to face the Forsaken in battle? Here you can find out which combat banners you can join.

Purple Banner
It’s called Lavender (Das heißt Lavendel!)
In the Purple Banner of the Fortress of Diversity (Feste der Vielfalt), diversity is the standard, because in this combat banner humans, orcs, dwarves and other races fight together against the Forsaken. Since we are mostly medium infantrymen, we are mobile and universally deployable. Sometimes we stand in the middle of the battle line, then we bring fear to the enemy at the flanks. One of the specialties of the Purple Banner is to tear a gap in the ranks of the enemy, together with the magicians, in order to enable the fighters of the Feste to break through. That is why the Purple Banner is also known as the Ram of the Feste. The Purple Banner is a colorful bunch. Everyone can be counted on and everyone gives everything to kick the butt of the Forsaken. And we have great fun doing it.

Yellow Banner
Almost in time! (Fast Rechtzeitig!)
The yellow banner ensures that the troops are supplied on the battlefield. The banner is closely linked to the quartermaster’s office and primarily takes on its tasks on the battlefield. Often in cooperation with the white banner, the yellow banner ensures that the troops of the fortress can hold out and survive on the battlefield – and, last but not least, return safely from there. In addition to supplying the troops, the yellow banner is also responsible for the equipment on the field: armor in need of repair, broken swords and all kinds of utensils are collected and taken to the fortress blacksmiths for repair. So that by the next morning, the Fortress of Diversity can once again be proud of its armed forces. And so the battle cry of the yellow banner rings out in every battle: “Yellow banner!?!! ALMOST ON TIME!!!”. As a supporting battle banner, the yellow banner enjoys great popularity among the other battle units and is one of the elementary components of the fortress troops and thus a decisive part of the military success of the Fortress of Diversity.

Red Banner
Stand together! (Steht zusammen!)
In the 17th year after the discovery, the Red Banner was re-formed after several years of absence, under the leadership of Baron Marvin von Westerhold and Sir Tristan McBride at the Conquest. Numerous members of the Feasts of Diversity joined the Red Banner and fought numerous battles. “Red Banner! – Stand together!” would soon become their signature battle cry, which was even picked up by a bardess and immortalized in song. For special achievements in the course of defending the fortresses, the Red Banner received a blessing from Orathon and was awarded a pennant of honor. The Red Banner values loyalty, fidelity, and friendship, and places great importance on being friendly and courteous to every member.

White Banner
We clean up! ("Wir räumen auf”)
This banner is as well one of the most important as it is one of the most versatile, which marches into battle for the Feste. It is tasked with helping to save the wounded and is therefore absolutely essential for reducing the losses of the other banners in battle. The field healers are thereby in charge of triage and first aid on the battlefield. Their fight against time and for the life of the wounded is supported by those who rescue the wounded from the line of battle and bring them to the relative safety of the white banner. Such safety is the responsibility of the last group: the healer’s guard, the armed branch of the white banner and an indispensable bulwark against enemies who have broken through the front line.

Blue Banner
From Behind! (Von Hinten!)
The Blue Banner is one of the oldest combat banners of the Fortress of Diversity (Feste der Vielfalt). Founded as the right flank of the former earth camp, it still consists primarily of lightly equipped fighters and skirmishers. The Blue Banner’s specialty, therefore, is fast, daring assaults – whether on the flank or through gaps that have formed in the middle of the battle line. Those who want to fight with the Blue Banner should bring speed but above all courage, the core aspect of this combat banner. But not only courage, also cohesion is key in this banner. And so each of its members wears blue paint on his face as a sign of belonging. And also the extraordinary battle cry “Blue banner! From behind!” unites the fighters of the Blue Banner. But how this came into being can only be learned from the members of the banner themselves.

Sauvignon / Golden Banner
Sauvignon Sacrebleu!
Located in the Old World, Le Duché de Sauvignon reigns over many hectares of land. It is made up of many villages, wine estates and cheese farms. The capital is Bourg Sauvignon, crossed by the river Fierbois. The current sovereign is Duke Grenache Montdor de Sauvignon, he is married to the sister of his Bretonian baron ally, Brie de Montclar. Their heir, the eldest son, is Fourme D’Ambert Marquis de Sauvignon, the latter leads the Sauvignon banner and his diplomacy to Mythodea to acquire glory and fortune, but also to brighten the reputation of the Duchy and delight everyone with the “Art de Vivre” that is so special for Sauvignon. His uncle Audric de Montclar took charge of military affairs; thus the Golden banner, support company is therefore composed of the Marquis and his retinue, the Breton house Montclar and his vassals, his mercenary company Wosiakir, but also the Graalist crusade Ligesang. As the Marquis was once part of the Caradoc as a squire in his young age, he always enjoyed standing by their side to support the campaign effort.

Caradoc Compagnie
Caradoc ? Lève ton boc ! (Caradoc ? Raise your cup !)
The Caradoc Compagnie comes from Bretonnia. Originally formed by mercenaries, after arriving at Mythodea, they fought against the Anti-Elements alongside the Avatar of Terra, and became the spearhead of its army. When the Earth camp was disbanded, they followed the Feste der Vielfalt, becoming its Black Banner and thus integrating in the Kommandantur and strategies of the Feste. On the battlefield, the Compagnie Caradoc often holds the central position on the front lines, using their line of panzer (heavy infantry with shields) to hold the positions while their light infantry can flank the enemy lines. But they are also a versatile group, with alchemists, mages, healers, bards, heavy or light fighters, archers… everyone can find their place, as long as they appreciate good humor and sausage saucisson tastings. The Caradoc Company will always march to the battlefield singing under its immense quartered sand and silver banner.

The Guard of the Fortress of Diversity
In the shadows!
The first task of the Guard is to protect the leaders of the fortress and the members of the Commandery. Day and night. On paths, in the Commandery and on the battlefield. The Brotherhood of the Guard is led by its founder and Captain Migosch von Lichtenruh and his First Guardsman Katholdt von Breydenbach called Katanga. In the past, numerous and sometimes massive attempts to assassinate members of the fortress have been thwarted by the vigilant spirit and decisive intervention of the Guard. In the field, guardsmen provide protection from enemy “chargers” (those in plate armour, full of murderous lust and rushing almost unstoppably towards the banner of our commander Kaela), from projectiles that have the same target, as well as from insidious attacks from the rear field. For every great campaign, the Guard recruits volunteer warriors. What counts for them is a watchful eye (the Guard does not sleep), battle-hardenedness and courage to the point of self-sacrifice (“If the protectee dies, the Guardsman has already toth to seyn”; From: Manual of the Honest Guardsman). The Guard camps close to the command and is always in the centre of the action. If you are looking for variety, danger, almost unsolvable missions and want to make a real contribution to the welfare of the fortress – talk to our leaders and join us! You are truly needed.
